The American Legion Riders Are Coming to Post 9

The American Legion Post 9 is proud to announce the launch of a new American Legion Riders Chapter right here in Brunswick. On Saturday, November 1, 2025, at 11:00 AM, we’ll be holding an organizational meeting at the Post (4470 Highway 17 North).
The Riders are a unique program of The American Legion that combines patriotism, community service, and the love of motorcycles. Across the nation, Riders participate in charity rides, escort veterans, support military families, and proudly carry the American flag on the open road. Now, it’s our turn to bring that tradition to Brunswick.
🚦 How Do You Qualify?
There are three roads to becoming a Rider – each starts with joining the American Legion Family.

If you’re a veteran with honorable service during eligible wartime dates, you can join The American Legion and become a Rider.
🏍️ Road B: You’re a Son or Grandson
If you’re a male descendant of a veteran (son, stepson, or grandson), you can join the Sons of The American Legion and become a Rider.
🛣️ Road C: You’re a Spouse or Relative
If you’re a spouse, daughter, sister, granddaughter, or mother of a veteran, you can join the American Legion Auxiliary and ride with pride.Family ties fuel the ride.
